What's coming up?

We have been busy this year making window treatments and custom aprons for some local restaurants, but what is next you may ask? The summer is filled with great local summer events, featuring unique artists and yummy food! Of course, Christina and I will be frequenting the ever popular Second Sunday's on Main in Over the Rhine, but first up is the Yellow Springs Street Fair. If you are not familiar with Yellow Springs, then you are missing out. This little town is home to Antioch College. It is an eclectic, artsy area of Ohio, that features some great restaurants and unique shopping experience. If you like the outdoors, just up the road is the local Bike Trail and John Bryan State Park.

Summer fun

We have had so much fun this summer and it has only just begun. Here are a few pics.

Hula hooping is a great break during shows.

Messenger Tie bag

  Lately, I  have been working on bags made out of ties. This one is a huge messenger bag that was made for my hula hoop instructor, Brianna. She wanted a bag that would fit her laptop and still have room for books.

I really get attached to these bags. Sometimes it is hard to part with them. With that said this is my favorite tie bag. The pink makes it just a little feminine but not over the top. It fits just under the armpit and holds a good amount of stuff.

So if you have some ties in your family that just sit around in the drawer, send them my way. I will create a fabulous, everyday, useful bag for you!

Sewing and sewing and sewing

I have been working non stop getting ready for a couple of craft shows. I'm not really sure how much stuff I will need. I will be at Second Sunday on Main in June and July. Then another show in August at the Covedale Theatre in Price Hill. It has been fun trying out new designs. Here are some action shots of me working!
